While I was (not so patiently) waiting the Intown 10K-ers to come by, a whole fleet of runners from the GA Marathon training group at Phidippides came running past me on the other side of the road.

More of the GA Marathon training group. I felt like they were taunting me as I waited for "my" racers.

It was a VERY cold morning and I had been up since 4am. I was less than impressed that these were not my runners.

Last picture of my runners. Because my race marshall position was right in front of my house, I just went inside once everyone passed me rather than returning to the post-race area.

As the main race sponsor, Publix had a huge set up at the Expo. They basically recreated an entire grocery store!

The half marathon course brought runners west on Park Drive and into a turn south on Monroe Drive (which is in the picture), just before they would have entered Piedmont Park. This was around mile nine for the half marathoners.

Once the half marathoners were mostly past the park, we decided to walk further into Piedmont Park to cheer on the marathoners. This was just over the Park Drive bridge.
